On September 4, 2019, CHO assigned an expert legal firm to file a petition against the government agent, at the Central Administrative Court, undecided case no. 1998/2019 between Cho Thavee Public Company Limited (as a complainant) and the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (as a defendant), claiming for damages or services or rental charges that should be paid to the company amounting to 1,556,074,766.36 baht with an annual interest rate of 7.5% calculated by the date after filing a petition to the payment date.

ปัจจุบัน SET Energy มีผู้ถือหุ้นประกอบด้วย SPCG สัดส่วน 40% , บริษัท มิตซู เพาเวอร์ กรุ๊ป จำกัด (Mitsu) ถือหุ้น 40% และ PEA ENCOM ถือหุ้น 20% ซึ่งการดำเนินการครั้งนี้ บริษัทจะเข้ารับโอกนกิจการทั้งหมดของ Mitsu ซึ่งถือหุ้นใน SET Energy โดยบริษัทจะออกหุ้นเพิ่มทุนไม่เกิน 81.8 ล้านหุ้น พาร์หุ้นละ 1 บาท ให้แก่ Mitsu เพื่อชำระมูลค่ากิจการทั้งหมด คิดเป็นมูลค่าไม่เกิน 1,799.6 ล้านบาท  โดยการดำเนินการคาดว่าจะเกิดขึ้นในเดือนมกราคม 2564 ซึ่งจะทำให้บริษัทถือหุ้นใน SET Energy เพิ่มเป็น 80% และ PEA ENCOM ยังคงถือสัดส่วน 20%
