ตลาดยังได้รับปัจจัยบวกจากข้อมูลเศรษฐกิจที่แข็งแกร่งของสหรัฐ รวมถึงการใช้จ่ายของผู้บริโภคสหรัฐเพิ่มขึ้นเป็นเดือนที่ 2 ในเดือนพ.ค. โดยปรับตัวขึ้น 0.4% สอดคล้องกับการคาดการณ์ของนักวิเคราะห์ ส่วนดัชนีราคาการใช้จ่ายเพื่อการบริโภคส่วนบุคคล (PCE) พื้นฐาน ซึ่งไม่นับรวมหมวดอาหารและพลังงาน และเป็นมาตรวัดอัตราเงินเฟ้อที่ธนาคารกลางสหรัฐ (เฟด) ให้ความสำคัญนั้น ปรับตัวขึ้น 0.2% ในเดือนพ.ค. เมื่อเทียบรายเดือน

นายพงศ์พิเชษฐ์ นานานุกูล กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุน กสิกรไทย จำกัด (บลจ. กสิกรไทย) เปิดเผยว่า บลจ.กสิกรไทย มองเป้าหมายดัชนีหุ้นไทยปลายปี 58 อยู่ที่ระดับ 1,600 จุด ด้วยอัตราส่วน Forward P/E ที่ระดับ 16 เท่า โดยกลยุทธ์การลงทุนในครึ่งปีหลัง จะให้น้ำหนักการลงทุนในหุ้นกลุ่มที่คาดว่าจะได้รับประโยชน์จากนโยบายภาครัฐ อาทิ กลุ่มรับเหมาก่อสร้าง กลุ่มส่งออก กลุ่มท่องเที่ยวและกลุ่มสื่อสาร
