นอกจากนั้นสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการคลัง (สศค.) ยังคาดการณ์ว่า GDP ปีนี้ยังมีโอกาสขยายตัวได้เกิน 3% จากการดำเนินนโยบายต่างๆ ของภาครัฐ ที่ส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจขยายตัวได้เพิ่มขึ้น พร้อมคาดว่า GDP ในปี 59 จะขยายตัวได้ 3.8% เป็นผลจากการลงทุนโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่เม็ดเงินจะเริ่มเข้าสู่ระบบมากขึ้น, ราคาน้ำมันขายปลีกในประเทศปรับตัวลดลง และ คณะกรรมการนโยบายการเงิน (กนง.) มีมติคงอัตราดอกเบี้ยนโยบายไว้ที่ 1.5%

โดยในวันนี้ (10 ต.ค. 60) พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทรโอชา นายกรัฐมนตรีและหัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ(คสช.) ได้เปิดเผยภายหลังการประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรีว่า จะประกาศวันเลือกตั้งในเดือนมิ.ย.61 และจะมีการเลือกตั้งในเดือนพ.ย.61 ซึ่งในการประชุม คสช.วันนี้ได้มีมติรับทราบพ.ร.บ.ประกอบรัฐธรรมนูญว่าด้วยพรรคการเมือง โดยหลังจากนี้อีกสักระยะหนึ่งทาง คสช.จะมีการพิจารณาในการผ่อนคลายให้สามารถทำกิจกรรมทางการเมืองได้
