นอกจากนี้ BBL มีงบดุลที่แข็งแกร่งกว่าธนาคารอื่นๆ สะท้อนจากสัดส่วนการกันสำรองต่อหนี้เสีย (Coverage ratio) และ สัดส่วนเงินกองทุนที่สูงกว่าอุตสาหกรรม ดังนั้นน่าจะถูกกระทบจากประเด็น IFRS9 น้อยกว่าคู่แข่ง ราคา BBL ที่ซื้อขายในปัจจุบันยังคงต่ำ book value (คาด 220 บาทปีนี้) ถือว่าค่อนข้างถูก เทียบกับแนวโน้มกำไรที่จะเร่งขึ้นในปีนี้ BBL เป็นหุ้นแนะนำของกลุ่มธนาคาร

สำหรับกำไรสุทธิในปี 2018  คาดจะอยู่ที่ 113 ล้านบาท พลิกกลับมาทำกำไร ถึงแม้ว่าประมาณการกำไรสุทธิใน 1H18 จะคิดเป็นเพียง 14% ของประมาณการทั้งปีของ  แต่ มองว่าแนวโน้มกำไรสุทธิใน 2H18 จะเติบโตก้าวกระโดดจากลูกค้าเพิ่มขึ้น และสัดส่วนสินค้ามาร์จิ้นสูงเพิ่มขึ้น ทั้งนี้  ประเมินราคาเหมาะสมปี 2019 ที่ 3.80 บาท (อิง PER เฉลี่ยของกลุ่มที่ 16.5 เท่า) และให้คำแนะนำ ซื้อ
