ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ณ เวลา 17.45 น. ตามเวลาไทย ดัชนีดาวโจนส์ล่วงหน้า (Dow Jones Futures) ลบ 192 จุด หรือ 0.80% สู่ระดับ 23,746 จุด ขณะที่ดัชนีดาวโจนส์นิวยอร์กอยู่ที่ระดับ 24,345.75 จุด ลบ 1,175.21 จุด หรือ 4.60% จึงคาดว่าดัชนีดาวโจนส์หลังเปิดตลาดฯในคืนนี้ (6 ก.พ.) จะยังคงปรับตัวลดลงอย่างต่อเนื่อง

นายพิพิธ เอนกนิธิ กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ KBANK เปิดเผยว่า ธนาคารไม่ได้รับผลกระทบในเรื่องสถานะทางการเงินจากกรณีการผิดนัดชำระหนี้ของ บริษัท เอ็นเนอร์ยี่ เอิร์ธ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ EARTH ซึ่งธนาคารให้วงเงินสินเชื่อระยะสั้นแก่บริษัทจำนวนหนึ่งและมีการเบิกใช้ไปราว 2 พันล้านบาท

ขณะที่คณะกรรมการบริษัท มีมติอนุมัติให้ทำสัญญากู้ยืมเงินกับธนาคารกสิกรไทย (KBANK) โดยมีวงเงินรวมทั้งสิ้น 385 ล้านบาท โดยจดจำนองที่ดินและสิ่งปลูกสร้างบนโฉนดเลขที่ 3520, 3523, 3225, 3526, 3531, 11727, 13786, 13787, 17861, 18948, 3524, 3532 และ 16475 ซึ่งเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของบริษัท เป็นหลักทรัพย์ค้ำประกัน

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ราคาหุ้น บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ PTT ณ เวลา 11.45 น.อยู่ที่ 344 บาท บวก 7.00 หรือ 2.08% มูลค่าการซื้อขาย 657.2 ล้านบาท โดยราคาหุ้นเปิดตลาดที่ 340 บาท ระหว่างวันปรับตัวขึ้นแตะระดับสูงสุดที่ 345 บาท และมีการย่อตัวแตะระดับต่ำสุดที่ 340 บาท ขณะที่ดัชนีหุ้นไทยโดยรวมบวก 0.86%
