นายมิทซิจิ โคโนชิตะ ประธานกรรมการและประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท กรุ๊ปลีส จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ GLเปิดเผยว่า บริษัทยังมีแผนการเข้าซื้อการใหม่ ๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง หลังจากที่ล่าสุดคณะกรรมการบริษัทได้อนุมัติการเข้าซื้อหุ้นบริษัทจดทะเบียนในประเทศศรีลังกา ได้แก่ Commercial Credit and Finance PLC (CCF) ในสัดส่วน 29.99% ซึ่งจะทำให้บริษัทสามารถรับรู้กำไรราว 2 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐในไตรมาส 4/59 ขณะที่จะสามารถบันทึกกำไรเข้ามาประมาณ 7 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ/ปีจากการลงทุนดังกล่าวด้วย

ขณะที่หนี้ที่ไม่ก่อให้เกิดรายได้ (NPL) ปีนี้จะทรงตัว หรืออาจลดลงเล็กน้อยจากปี 59 ที่อยู่ในระดับ 2.54% เป็นไปตามภาวะเศรษฐกิจ และยอดขายรถยนต์ที่ดีขึ้น ส่งผลให้ปีนี้ธนาคารคาดว่าจะมีการตั้งสำรองที่ลดลงจากปีก่อนที่ตั้งสำรองไปมากกว่า 4 พันล้านบาท และ จากการที่ธนาคารแก้ปัญหาหนี้ของ บริษัทสหวิริยาอินดัสตรี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ SSI เป็นที่เรียบร้อยทำให้สัดส่วนเงินสำรองหนี้สูญต่อหนี้ที่ไม่ก่อให้เกิดรายได้ (Coverate ratio) อยู่ที่ 139.8% สูงกว่าระบบที่อยู่ในระดับ 130%
