When looking at the fundamental factors, STEC does not have anything special. Over the past 2 years, the STEC’s turnover was fluctuated. As in 2017, STEC recorded a net loss by THB 610 million from a total revenue of THB 21,190 million. But in 2018, STEC had turned back to gain profit with a net profit of THB 1,616 million from a total revenue of THB 28,000 million. The latest quarter, 1Q19, STEC showed the total net profit of THB 343 million from the total revenue of THB 7,555 million.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic which severely has affected to airline industry since late of year 2019. BA decided to suspend and terminate some routes during March 2020 to match with low traveling demand and cooperated with government orders as well as the announcement from Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) regarding to COVID-19 spread out situation. As a result, for the first quarter of year 2020, the number of passenger decreased 23.3% compared with the same period last year.

On May 15, 2019, the Board of Directors of the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) has resolved to end the dispute with Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) by offering an extension of expressway concessions to BEM.The approval was made to extend three concessions by 30 years. These three concessions are 1) Si Rat Expressway (A, B, C), 2) Si Rat Expressway (D), 3) Bang Pa-in-Pak Kret Expressway (C+), settling the dispute in the amount of THB 130 billion in value.
