โดยผลการดำเนินงานเพิ่มขึ้นเนื่องจากต้นทุนในการจัดจำหน่ายไตรมาส 3/2563 อยู่ที่ 28.73 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อนอยู่ที่ 59.53 ล้านบาท และค่าใช้จ่ายในการบริหารไตรมาส 3/2563 อยู่ที่ 22.51 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อนอยู่ที่ 58.18 ล้านบาท และได้ส่วนแบ่งกำไรจากเงินลงทุนในบริษัทร่วมไตรมาส 3/2563 อยู่ที่ 33.97 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อนอยู่ที่ 1.22 ล้านบาท

และเมื่อเจรจาเสร็จก็เข้าสู่เงื่อนไขตาม พ.ร.บ.ร่วมทุนปี 2562 ซึ่งมีผลไปก่อนแล้วเมื่อเดือน มี.ค.62 แต่คำสั่งที่ออกมาเป็นการยกเว้นเงื่อนไข และแก้ไขสัญญาที่เหลืออีก 10 ปี ให้เชื่อมกันเป็นสัญญาเดียวกับส่วนต่อขยายไปอีก 40 ปี ซึ่งสภาฯ เคยมีมติไม่ให้ขยายสัมปทาน โดยให้รอจนครบสัญญา 10 ปี แล้วค่อยประมูลใหม่ โดยให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องไปทำตามกฎหมายร่วมทุน แต่ก็มีความพยายามต่อขยายสัมปทานให้ได้

บริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ PTT และกองทัพเรือ ได้ร่วมลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยความร่วมมือด้านพลังงาน และการบริการน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงและธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวเนื่องบริเวณสนามบินอู่ตะเภา เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาพื้นที่ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก (Special Eastern Economic Corridor) : เมืองการบินภาคตะวันออก (Eastern Aviation) ให้เกิดผลสำเร็จเป็นรูปธรรม ตามนโยบายและแผนยุทธศาสตร์ประเทศไทย 4.0
