สำหรับภาพรวมของนักลงทุนต่างชาติยังคงมีแรงขายต่อเนื่อง หลังจากเข้าซื้อมาในช่วงเดือนพ.ค.-ก.ค.รวมประมาณ 7.4 หมื่นล้านบาท และตั้งแต่ต้นเดือน ส.ค.จนถึงปัจจุบันขายไปแล้วราว 2.3 หมื่นล้านบาท ท่ามกลางสถานการณ์เงินไหลออกทั่วภูมิภาคเอเชีย จากความไม่มั่นใจต่อภาวะเศรษฐกิจและกำไรของบริษัทจดทะเบียนที่ยังไม่ดี ขณะที่สงครามการค้าและสถานการณ์ประท้วงในฮ่องกงก็จะกระทบต่อภูมิภาคเอเชีย โดยเฉพาะในด้านการท่องเที่ยวด้วย
